ABOUT STEPAN PAKHOLOK

I am a software developer and I have 6 years of experience in WEB development in particular. During this period, I have been involved to various software projects including activities related to product discovery / product management, performance analysis, continuous integration, database design etc.I have good understanding of the object-oriented concepts and design patterns, database architecture modeling using for web oriented SaaS platforms. My strongest skills and the most recent activities are related to Ruby programming language and Ruby on Rails framework including good knowledge and experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, DBMSs, server setup etc. I also have a decent experience with PHP programming language with Laravel and YII frameworks and various CMS written on PHP. I also have good experience in front-end base libs/ frameworks like jQuery and Twitter Bootstrap and actually I have no special preferences whether to work with back-end or front-end parts. And I have experience with integration and support of different third party API-based services as well. I also strong experience in automation testing and BDD approaches. In past I also was engaged with development of utilities for MS Office and have experience of development using VBA / VBS / SQL, MS Excel / MS Access automation. There were also periods when I was supporting java based point-of-sale software deployment and integration with web based services and data storages. I am good team player with strong self-motivation and good communication skills, I love learning new things and solve complicated issues. I enjoy my work and always strive to do it the smartest (not hardest) way.My hobbies and Interests encompass social psychology, blacksmith craft, motorcycles, cooking.
