Owner of subject camera software stack, from design input to schematic review to bringup to frame-in-hand, for Skydio 2, X2, X10, R10 products:• Performed sensor / module bringup• Added stepper actuator support to Qualcomm\'s camera stack• Designed custom camera pipelines (chi/camx, gstreamer) to meed complex system needs• Implemented top-level camera application. Feature highlights- Multi-camera operation / hybrid zoom - Image stabilization infrastructure - Photo capture / video encoding / downlink - Overlay (watermark) rendering - Custom tuning modes, and so forth• Implemented various debug tools - CPHY / DPHY shmoo testing - Actuator testing tools - Live PDAF visualizer - EIS plotter, etc• Built in-house camera test equipment (glass-to-glass latency meter, high-speed LED panel, etc)Drone-appropriate image stabilization infrastructure: • Decompiled / reverse-engineered vendor\'s image stabilization library • Patched vendor\'s binary blob to expose access to internal data structures • Implemented filtering /\"compensation\" algorithm to allow image stabilization to cooperate with flight control system • Implemented online EIS tuning, allowing image stabilization parameters to be tuned in real time, rather than rebuilding/reflashing • In later products, replaced CamX\'s image stabilization library with in-house algorithm developed by autonomy teamBSP work:• Performed Linux bringup on Qualcomm SoCs used in Skydio products - QRB5165, QCS405, QCS605, APQ8009• The usual - design input, bootloaders, device tree, kernel, drivers, userspace• Debugged multiple stubborn hardware problemsMisc:• Implemented CPU-efficient UI rendering library for Skydio Beacon - Fast blitting, font rendering, animation engine, display driver, etc• Implemented dynamic TX power control in QGroundControl for Army SRR T1 program• Discovered three-ish local privilege escalation exploits in \"secure\" third-party product• Dabbled in RF bringup on QCA6174A
