I am a registered social worker (ACSW & OCSWSSW) with a Master’s Degree in Social Work and more than 6 years of experience working in social work including work as a Alberta Supports Coordinator at Govt of Alberta, counsellor and community case manager at subsidized housing and harm reduction and addiction support walk-in programs, Child Protection Social Worker with Children services and Social work-Coordinator. I completed a Social work program at Ryerson University. My experience and education make me well suited for this job. My professional experience expands over 6 years of social work practice in unique community settings in India, the UK and Canada. Currently I work as Alberta Supports Coordinator at Ministry of Community and Social Services-Govt of Alberta where I help my clients address their social, emotional, physical, educational, cognitive, and addiction challenges through government programs and provisions.My intent as a social worker is to ensure inclusion participation and representation of oppressed communities through assessing needs and strength, program development advocacy and policy change. This is consistent with my professional values of respect for client rights, inclusion, integrity, and advocacy.
