ABOUT HIRAL OZA
I am a registered pharmacist in India by education, with a graduate degree in pharmacy. After my masters, I actually took a regulatory affairs position at a pharmaceutical manufacturing firm. I have about 5 year of experience working in the pharma industry as a regulatory affairs specialist. While I was leading some of the dossier filings, I would work closely with the formulation and drug development scientists and I really wanted to learn more about drug development research. That\'s why I jumped from pharmacy and regulatory affairs to graduate program in stem cells technology. I am really excited by the whole regenerative medicine space, and the tremendous opportunity or potential it has to not only treat but actually cure some of the diseases. Regenerative therapies are now getting more into the clinical space and there are challenges in how we can manufacture this to scale and bring it to patients so they can benefit from it.
