ABOUT STELLA PASHYAN
I am a rising senior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, double majoring in psychology (concentrating in interdisciplinary psychology) and political science (concentrating in international relations), on the pre-law track. My psychology interest is a unique companion to my interest in law. and Psychology My psychology and political science majors will complement my goal to pursue law school. My interest in international law stemmed from me wanting to enact change globally. Through my involvement in Armenian (cultural) dance I met an international lawyer, who inspired me to continue to pursue my interest. One of the international cases that interests me is regarding the atrocities in Artsakh. With my future experiences I hope to learn more about global conflicts and relations and develop a deeper understanding in how international law is incorporated. I am known for being hard-working and passionate in my interests and goals. This can be seen through my volunteer and work experiences which enhanced important communication and leadership skills. These skills can be applied to my future academic and career goals boosting my interpersonal skills and impact on an audience.
