About Stella Tu
I\'m a user researcher and strategist with 5 years of industry experience working with B2C and B2B products in both startup and big tech settings. I partner with teams to build empathy for the user and confidence in decision making through data, insight, and storytelling across the end-to-end research product development lifecycle. I especially enjoy exploring new ideas, products, and market opportunities at the intersection of human insight and business needs to inform product strategy.I draw upon a background in psychology and design to bring empathy and human-centered approaches to my work. My toolkit includes ethnography, contextual inquiry, in-depth interviews, prototype testing, intercepts, participatory design, persona and journey map development, survey research, design thinking, and workshop facilitation. I also like to think about creative ways to combine or adapt methods to work within constraints and discover rich insights.
