ABOUT STELLA IGWEAMAKA
I help organizations and communities turn complex social and market challenges into inclusive growth opportunities. My work sits at the intersection of research, strategy, and community impact ultimately designing solutions that expand access, reduce systemic barriers, and build conditions where people and economies can thrive. Whether it’s expanding access to financial services, improving newcomer integration, or designing programs that remove systemic barriers, my work sits at the intersection of research, strategy, and community impact; building solutions that help people and economies thrive.I believe good data should lead to better decisions. At Servus Credit Union, I help turn research into strategy; identifying opportunities, designing inclusive financial products, and supporting long-term strategy, including launching Alberta’s first halal mortgage and developing financial solutions for newcomers. Along the way, I’ve partnered with public institutions, nonprofits, and national organizations to design evidence-based programs including Canada’s first national study on Black women entrepreneurs, which informed policy and funding approaches across Canada’s economic development ecosystem. More recently, I’ve collaborated with Black Canadian Women in Action and Sisters in Sync on national research examining adultification bias and justice- and mental-health disparities affecting Black girls, contributing to emerging justice reform and equity initiatives. My toolkit blends market and social research, UX and consumer insights, stakeholder engagement, and storytelling that moves ideas into implementation. I bring 9+ years of experience across KPMG, Kantar, Pivotal Research, and Perksy, alongside an MBA and deep community leadership including founding a BIPOC employee resource group and serving on civic and sector advisory bodies. My work has been recognized through multiple industry and impact awards, including: Canadian Winner, Research Got Talent (ESOMAR/CRIC); Insight250; QRCA Young Professional Grant; GreenBook Future List Finalist; Global 30 Under 30; Future of Good Young Impact Leader; and 2025 Daughter’s Day Award recipient.Contact: e••••••••@yahoo.comWebsite:
