Currently pursuing dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology at Tulane University, I am developing a strong foundation in human behavior and social dynamics. As a Crisis Counselor in Training with Crisis Text Line and a Behavior Technician in Training at Deep Roots Behavior, I am honing essential skills in active listening, crisis intervention, and evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) practices. My academic and professional experiences emphasize trauma-informed care, collaboration, and supporting individuals during critical moments of need.At Crisis Text Line, I provide compassionate, text-based emotional support, focusing on de-escalation and empowering individuals to navigate challenges. In my role at Deep Roots Behavior, I work with children and individuals to foster life, communication, and social skills, collaborating with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement tailored treatment plans. I am passionate about promoting mental health equity and supporting diverse communities through accessible, client-centered care.

My training emphasizes maintaining composure under pressure, assessing safety and risk, and empowering texters to identify coping strategies and next steps. Each conversation strengthens my ability to provide compassionate, trauma-informed care and reinforces my dedication to accessible, equitable mental health support.
