I have had a twenty-five-year career as an oenologist, university professor, consultant to the wine and the hospitality industry. I have a Master of Philosophy and PhD degree in Yeast Physiology and Fermentation Biotechnology from Abertay Dundee University in Scotland. For 10 years I taught as an adjunct lecturer at Athens University of Applied Science. I taught Industrial Fermentation Biotechnology, General Microbiology, on the Bachelor and MSc levels. I am a member of Scottish Microbiology Society, the European Federation of Biotechnology and am a member of the International Wine Organization (OIV.) I am co-owner of Purely Greece Imports based in NYC and focusing to promote boutique Greek wineries to the US market. From May 2022 I am the Director Of Enology and Viticulture at Walla Walla Community College
