I am responsible for driving quality improvements and ensuring sustainable high standards of care across multiple care homes in the North West region. My duties involve:* Quality Assurance & Compliance: Conducting comprehensive quality audits against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and CQC Fundamental Standards. Developing and implementing robust action plans to address identified areas for improvement and ensuring sustained compliance.* Operational Support & Change Management: Providing direct support to care homes facing operational challenges, including designing effective staffing models, and implementing solutions to promote resident safety and enhance their experience.* Team Leadership & Development: Leading and coaching care home teams to deliver high standards of care, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and best practice.* Stakeholder Management: Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including regulators and commissioners. Representing the organisation and presenting audit findings and improvement plans in various meetings.* Policy & Process Development: Contributing to the development and standardisation of care-related policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure best practice.* Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitoring the progress of Service Improvement Plans, reporting on compliance and outcomes to the Director of Care Quality, and participating in Governance Meetings.* Strategic Support: Supporting Company Directors in the delivery of strategic objectives related to quality and care.* Mentorship: Advising and guiding new and existing Home Managers, particularly those facing challenges.* Evidence Management: Organising the production and gathering of evidence to demonstrate best practice care and positive resident experiences.
