European Union Technical Assistance to the Education and Labour Sectors of the Republic of Tajikistan, Quality Education Support Programme II (QESP II):Providing high-level advisory services to the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment, and the Committee on Primary and Secondary Education on education system governance, digitalisation, and labour market alignment. Key responsibilities include:Advising on AI-enhanced education governance and skills mobility strategies, aligned with Global Gateway priorities.Leading the development and roll-out of 20 competency-based curricula for general education and TVET; establishing sector councils and public-private partnership initiatives.Organising and overseeing Tajikistan’s first participation in PISA 2025, including technical preparation, institutional coordination, and data strategy development.Supporting the design and implementation of the Education Management Information System (EMIS), integration of AI into education planning, and development of Labour Market Information Systems (LMIS).Facilitating national dialogue on education transformation towards a competence-based system through 6 workshops, 14 policy briefs, and 3 international peer learning visits.Conducting child labour surveys, graduate tracer studies, Labour Force Survey (LFS), and School-to-Work Transition Surveys to support evidence-based policymaking.Moderating six Donor Coordination and Local Education Group (DCC/LEG) meetings in coordination with the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) to strengthen sector dialogue and EU visibility.Responsible for monitoring the €30 million EU Budget Support programme, including oversight of four disbursement-linked indicators (€12 million).
