About Stefan Owechko

I am a licensed Mechanical Engineer in the HVAC industry with extensive experience in both specifying and constructing design build projects across the Central Coast and Southern California. My expertise lies in early engagement with end users to evaluate needs and determine the best holistic system design approach to achieve desired solutions within target budget and schedule. I have worked in all markets from large commercial aerospace jobs to small retail TIs, higher education campus development to hospital renovation, airport terminal replacements to mixed use multifamily dwellings and everything in between. I am now putting this experience to use in the equipment sales role and I look forward to supporting your project from start to finish.    I am fortunate that my career has brought me back to the Central Coast, which allows me to resume my involvement with the University and give back to the student community. In addition to lecturing part time in the Mechanical Engineering Department, I also serve on the Cal Poly HVACR Industry Advisory Board to help engage industry leaders with the student ASHRAE club and bring fresh insights, career and internship opportunities, and fundraising to the student program.
