IT System Architect Innovation & Architecture Governance Cyber Defense, Technology Infrastructure & IaaS. • Innovation and architecture technological infrastructure - The main activity is to design, follow the purchasing processes and implement new infrastructural architectures in order to respond punctually to all the needs coming from other Business Units and from the Customers of the Public Administration. The constant scouting activity towards the technological innovations proposed by the different suppliers is fundamental. • Publication of internal company documentation – This is a very important aspect of my current role, hard linked to every new projects and release of new infrastructures and technologies to the Business Units dealing with systems management. • Virtualization and Management of VMware infrastructure of Sogei - During the early period in Sogei I had the opportunity to develop special skills in the field of virtualization for the management of the entire VMware infrastructure. We are talking of about Virtual Machines, 400 ESXi hosts and 12 vCenters. In the last two years I have personally followed the introduction of many VMware technologies within Sogei\'s virtual farm such as vSAN, vRealize Automation, NSX-T. I am currently following a PoC to test Pacific and Tanzu on vCloud Foundation platform. I am also overseeing the purchasing processes, installation and implementation projects for Server, Storage and converged platform, in particular Dell VxVblock. Relevant Projects: Relocation RGS (January 2019 - October 2020)- Design and governance of the operational Relocation project of the Italian State General Accounting Office Data Center at Sogei Data Center. The team involved, and managed, in the RGS relocation project consisted of around 40 people.
