ABOUT STEFANOS NIKOLAIDIS
I am an ML Engineer at Waymo and a tenured Associate Professor of Computer Science at USC.At USC, I lead the Interactive and Collaborative Autonomous Robotics Systems (ICAROS) lab. My research leads to end-to-end solutions that enable deployed robotic systems and autonomous agents to act robustly when interacting with people in practical, real-world applications. This review paper summarizes some of our work in the ICAROS lab on algorithmic scenario generation: https://arxiv.org/pdf/24•••••11At Waymo, I apply and extend my research on scenario generation to discover edge-case scenarios and advance large-scale simulation for autonomous driving systems.
