ABOUT STEFANO MUSSO
My educational background is of ICT type, started with a diploma in industrial electronics at Peano istitute (Turin) and completed with a degree in computer science.Work experience as a developer, technical analyst and technical project leader in the design and implementation of management information systems at national and international level has covered the first 10 years of my career. In these years I have increased my skills through several training courses (including Oracle courses, with whom I have been certified as OCP DBA and PL SQL Developer OCP) and I have gained experience in key technology areas (DB, Web, SAAS, etc.).Starting in 2006, the business of management consulting has become a priority, and I have acquired functional and managerial skills in large IT projects where my role was less technical and more managerial. In parallel I also started an activity of business development for my company, with the continuous analysis of the business models and customer needs in order to propose technical solutions can bring value. In recent years I have worked on my company\'s participation in national and international research projects, consolidating my skills in their management, from the preparation of the project proposal and management of the composition of the partnership up to the management of the project implementation and the communication of their cost.I believe that information technology is now fully integrated with the production processes and decision-making of companies, and that therefore the choice of a ICT system or product does not concern only the ICT area but directly the top of the company and all business areas (administration, staff, etc.). I believe that the management consulting can no longer be distinguished from the ICT choices, and in this sense I try to bring value to the companies in which I work as a consultant. In the last two years I have again faced more strictly technical issues, taking on the role of DBA in a company linked to the Energy & Utilities world. I proposed to modernize the role, integrating it more with the other production lines of the company in order to optimize the entire production cycle of the software. In the last year I have promoted the passage of the production line to a microservices architecture, based on processes of continuos delivery and continuos integration (CI & CD), participating in the design of what will be the software production architecture and architecture same of the new products that the company intends to implement in the coming years.
