ABOUT STEFANO VIOTTO

I am a Professional Educator with over 30 years of experience in managing social and healthcare services as well as socio-educational programs. I have coordinated programs for minors, people with disabilities, and the elderly, establishing partnerships and securing funding to improve their lives. My dedication to service extends internationally, with experiences in developing countries such as Burundi for a training course and Ethiopia as a volunteer in refugee camps for two years. I was a co-speaker at the first Social Cohousing conference in Stockholm and participated in \"Best Practices\" exchanges in Israel with the National Center for Disability in Jerusalem. My career began as an educator at the Solidarietà Sei Social Cooperative in Carmagnola (Turin), where I supported a residential community for minors with behavioral issues and trafficking victims for about ten years. Later, in Milan, I managed social and healthcare services for people with disabilities at Sociosfera ONLUS SCS. I supervised and managed the Disability Department with multidisciplinary teams and over 500 users. I subsequently managed the \"Visita Sospesa®\" Project and contributed to the design and fundraising of new services for families at the Welcomed Polyspecialistic Medical Center. In recent years, I worked as the Head of the Elderly Department at the Cercate Social Cooperative in Verona, contributing to the coordination of the Policella Residential Care Home. Currently, I am the Head of the Minors Department at the Spazio Aperto Cooperative in Bussolengo (Verona). My education includes specialized training and updates. I am fluent in English, have a basic knowledge of French, and can communicate in Amharic. I have contributed to research and publications, including an article in the American Journal on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and I have participated as an expert speaker at several conferences. I am also an active lifelong member of the International Lay Volunteers Association (L.V.I.A) and the Friends of the Beresheet Lashalom Foundation Association. In summary, I am a passionate, competent, and dedicated individual with extensive experience in the field of personal services.
