Researcher at Istituto Superiore Mario Boella of Turin, then LINKS Foundation, since May 2009, as part of PhotonLab team, where I enforced my experience in- project, realization and testing measurements of opto-electronic communication systems and devices in a photonic laboratory- manual and automatic use of high-level opto-electronic laboratory instruments (e.g. oscilloscope, arbitrary waveform generator, optical spectrum analyzer, power meter, wavelength meter, etc.)- development of optical test plans and strategies- execution and analysis of simulations in Matlab® and Simulink®- project and realization of small electronic circuits and soldering of small opto-electronic devices onto printed circuit boards- writing and exposition of technical papers and posters for scientific journals and international conferences (more than 90 papers in 9 years)- participation to several European projects focused on the physical layer of optical networks, for back-bone with glass optical fibers and access based on both glass and plastic optical fibers.
