ABOUT STEFANO GRASSO
I have worked as a physiotherapist since 2010 in different places, in partnership with a wide number of health professionals. After my masters in Health Professions of Rehabilitation Sciences, which I finished in 2014, I attended many different training courses that gave me a good knowledge in both musculoskeletal and neurological fields. I am interested in strength and conditioning and I try to provide my patients with just EBM treatments In April 2021 I started my role as a First Contact Practitioner physio into a GP surgery with the skill of assess, diagnose and manage musculoskeletal problems. This will involve supporting patients with undifferentiated conditions with a rapid and accurate diagnosis and interpretation of assessment findings with a particular eye for red flags. My personal goal is to deliver management plans and programmes to support patient self-management and behavioural change. Also I want to optimise individuals\' physical activity, mobility and fulfilment of personal goals and independence, whilst minimising the need for pharmacological interventions.
