ABOUT STEFANO CATTANI

I am a visionary leader and accomplished researcher at the intersection of democracy and innovation. Driven by my passion for social innovation, I earned my bachelor\'s degree in International Relations at the Latin American University of Science and Technology, where I later honed my expertise in Public Policy Design. Through my roles as a research consultant, I\'ve collaborated with esteemed public institutions like the Ombudsman\'s Office, as well as non-governmental organizations, championing causes from human rights advocacy to sustainable community development through arts and sciences. As an educator, I\'ve had the privilege of shaping minds at both local and international universities, sharing insights on a diverse array of social science topics. In my most recent role as Chief Programs Officer at DemoLab, I not only orchestrated transformative initiatives, like the Citizen Observatory, but also led the charge in strategic program development. Within the Open State Civic Parliament, I\'ve had the distinct honor of serving as Chair of both the Innovation and Collaboration Commission, and previously, the Advocacy and Citizen Participation Commission. My pragmatic approach has proven instrumental in unifying diverse groups, enabling us to forge innovative solutions that fortify the pillars of democracy. Looking ahead, I remain steadfast in my commitment to pioneering advancements at the nexus of social innovation and civic progress.
