ABOUT STEFANO BELLET

I’m mature professional with great customer orientation and attitude to leadership and team playing who developed a wide experience in high technology market by successfully covering different roles in project management over the past 20 years, working with different design teams for different international companies and customers.My experience varies from managing the design team, the development and validation activities in either EMS or OEM business models to transfer the design to the manufacturing centres located in several parts of Europe and Asia. The responsibility includes managing the activities required to design and verify the product, validate the plastic tooling, validate the test equipment and the assembly equipment used by the manufacturing sites as well as managing the entire financial aspect of the projects.Currently working for Barco headquartered in Belgium, I’m currently responsible for the Project Management at the Saronno Italy Design and Manufacturing Center.The devices developed in Saronno are produced in Italy and China.Heavy communication with business development, manufacturing sites and procurement in what is a multifunctional position. I’m dealing with RFI/RFQ, design, risk management, prototyping, BOMs, NPI, transfer and product lifecycle management.I have deep understanding of device design, verification and validation and their link to FDA and MDR regulations.On a daily basis I’m in communication with the entire R&D functions and coordinating the technical team. I’ve an overview of the technical aspects and I’m comfortable liaising with engineers be they on the customer or the company side. I understand the OEM and EMS world, the processes and logic of how products are designed, manufactured and brought to market.
