Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. I have been attending to the management of the laboratory of Microbial Ecology at IRSA-CNR (Rome, Italy). As reference person for the laboratory of Flow Cytometry and Microscopy, I carry on researches in the field of Aquatic Microbial Ecology, with a focus on the structural and functional dynamics of microbial communities across environmental gradients in natural and engineered systems. These studies find fundamental applications for the management of water resources.
