Automated start/stop scripts for Application services on several Windows platforms to remove 2 hours of manual tasks to shut down applications for DR testing. The new process was a one script invocation (written in PowerShell) across several Windows platforms to reduce the stop/re-start time to 10 minutes allowing the DR test to complete within its time window. The script had both a local and remote capability and was config driven. Fixing a Holiday Processing procedures which had never worked. Instituted a proper change plan with numbered steps, including verification steps within a proper change ticket regime, and used a dedicated group chat to capture the missing details failing the process. The stake holders were very happy once fixed as it saved many hours of break fixes for holiday processing Added batch monitoring reports for Frontier vendor product to establish visibility on missing or late files to prevent reconciliation batches running without required data. General scripting (PowerShell, Perl, bash, SQL) User queries Leading 3 offshore resources to deal with support issues Incident management Managing senior stake holders Post incident follow up / post mortems Managing production changes Organizing and implementing AWS archiving or production files User queries / inbox Setting up \"solutions\" documentation on confluence and documentation mapping the batch Vendor products supported - SWIFT, Gloss, Frontier Inhouse systems included IPM - a middle office system to route orders to various systems.

The role included some hands-on development and reverse engineering business specifications to extreme deadlines in a challenging organisational environment.
