As the Operational Head of the Environmental Management System at Vodafone Germany, a global leader in the telecommunications industry and a pioneer in digitalization, I play a key role in promoting sustainability and environmental protection. My responsibilities include:• Successfully initiating and leading projects for the implementation of a company-wide environmental management system. This involves developing and implementing strategies that positively impact the company\'s environmental footprint.• Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental legal regulations (such as BImschG, WHG, KrWG) and product-related environmental law (VerpackG, ElektroG, BattG). My focus is on identifying and minimizing environmental risks and ensuring compliance across all business areas.• Leading initiatives for the continuous improvement of the company\'s environmental performance. This includes monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing processes to reduce the ecological footprint.• Managing and maintaining an efficient, ISO 14001 certified environmental management system. In this role, I ensure that Vodafone Germany achieves its ambitious environmental and sustainability goals by implementing best practices and promoting a high level of environmental awareness within the company.

Hej! Ich bin ein erfahrener Projektleiter und eine Führungskraft mit Master of Science-Abschluss an der Brighton Business School, der schon in der Touristik, Hotellerie, im Retail und in der Finanz- & Versicherungswirtschaft arbeiten durfte. In meiner gegenwärtigen Rolle beschäftige ich mit den Themen Digitalisierung und Nachhaltigkeit und darf als zertifizierter Umweltmanager und geprüfte Fachkraft für Umweltrecht das Umweltmanagementsystem nach ISO 14001 bei Vodafone Deutschland leiten. Auch hierfür wurde meinem Team und mir der Deutsche Nachhaltigkeitspreis 2024, Europas größte Auszeichnung für ökologisches und soziales Engagement, verliehen. Darüber hinaus verfüge ich über Qualifikationen als Umweltauditor nach ISO 19011.In meiner Freizeit suche ich beim Tauchen und Golfen einen körperlichen und geistigen Ausgleich, verbringe viel Zeit mit meinen Kindern und meiner Frau und bin ehrenamtlich als Vorstand eines gemeinnützigen Vereins im Bereich der frühkindlichen Bildung tätig.
