With over two decades of engineering leadership experience across global manufacturing and technology firms, Stefan currently serves as Vice President of Engineering at Jamesway Chick Master Incubator Inc, where he drives innovation, operational excellence, and strategic growth in the poultry incubation industry. Prior to this role, Stefan held senior engineering positions at Glen Dimplex Americas (Electric heating, electric fireplaces), Milacron (Mold-Masters, Hot runner systems), Linamar (Automotive), Phillips Machine Tools (Custom Heavy Machine Tool Builder), ENGEL and HUSKY Injection Molding (Injection Molding Machine Builders), where he led cross-functional teams, implemented advanced manufacturing systems, spearheaded product development initiatives. His expertise spans engineering, ERP/SAP R/3 integrations, business systems, supply chain, capital budgeting, and strategic negotiations. Stefan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld, Germany, wrote a thesis at Husky Injection Molding, and has completed executive training at the Schulich School of Business (York University), FranklinCovey, and Skillsoft. Based in Guelph, Ontario, Stefan is passionate about building high-performance teams and delivering customer-centric solutions that shape the future of industrial machinery/automation. Stefan grew up in Germany and adventured out to Canada as an engineering student for six months…after more than thirty years…Stefan has two daughters, both pursuing Mechanical Engineering careers from Queen’s University. Stefan loves sports, from bicycling (road & mountain) to badminton, soccer, hiking, yoga, and picking up pickleball recently as well. The Outdoors is the Best. Living in an amazing country for it and having seen almost all of it with his family, even having driven the Dempster Highway and jumping in the Arctic Ocean in Tuktoyatuk.
