In my current role as a Program Coordinator for before and after-school programs, here are some of my accomplishments that I am most proud of- Organized the first ever Expanded Learning Programs Multi-Cultural Fair for the Santee School District and community, featuring performances by Santee School District students, including Ballet Folklorico, African Drum and Dance, and OPUS, along with interactive booths representing different countries- Celebrated the nationwide Lights On After School initiative, by hosting the WE Scare Hunger Dance for students, highlighting the importance of after-school programs- Introduced cultural awareness and celebration in the Santee School District by creating a Global Spotlight calendar, focusing on monthly activities based on the culture and heritage of the month- Developed and implemented robust systems to support program success, including staff appreciation initiatives, color-coded organization, comprehensive staff handbooks and guidelines, and informative flyers and platforms- Translated materials to be easily understood and accessible online for both staff and parents- Piloted and launched a Leaders in Training Club for 4th-8th grade students, fostering leadership skills and personal development- Coordinated and implemented a new registration process for the 20••••25 school year, ensuring effectiveness and transparency for parents through a point-based system- Created and delivered professional development trainings for ELP staff on topics such as Behavior Management, Roles and Responsibilities, Policies and Procedures, and collaborated with the Transportation Department and district nurses to provide Bus Safety and First Aid trainings- Planned and coordinated the annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon, including selecting food options, arranging entertainment, and organizing staff gifts. Prior accomplishments: Playworks PRO Trainer/Program Coordinator-Led the way to a district wide master service agreement for the next 3 years in the San Diego Unified School District and worked with 15 different school partnerships within 1 year to deliver Playworks services - Being selected out of the 8 SoCal trainers to deliver a Playworks PRO training in Hawaii -One of the first Northern California Program Coordinators in Playworks to return to in person school during COVID I am someone who will do whatever it takes to get the job done, driven by a strong work ethic, passionate about leadership, and an adaptable person!
