About Stefanie Robles
I find purpose and exhilaration in bringing order to chaos, with compassion and intention. That’s why it’s no surprise that I’m involved in social entrepreneurship and community building. As a proud Afro-Latinx Bronx native, I’ve witnessed my communities suffer. These circumstances inspired my involvement in food justice, intersectional wellness, education, and community building centered on the needs of BIPOC and Queer communities. Originally, I pursued academia to transform policies and cultures to become more inclusive and equitable. Over time, I realized that the value of education and policy reform is critical; but without communal input and buy-in, the change is fleeting. That’s what led me to form my own nutrition and wellness social enterprise, Nourishing Habits with Stef, to foster realistic and tailored accessible wellness practices via coaching and programming. This work is designed to unpack and dismantle oppression through inclusive educational programming, cultivate dialogue, shift cultural norms, and support the development of local social entrepreneurship. It’s my deepest desire to see people learn, grow, and thrive. My hope is that I can create non-judgmental spaces where people and communities feel safe to explore, learn, and create the lives they desire.
