Meaningful experiences in special environments feed the soul, creating memories that can\'t be stolen. That\'s why I\'m passionate about travel and hospitality.In my childhood, I was blessed with many once-in-a-lifetime travel moments with family and friends. These turned into cherished memories. Later, during my 10-year government career, I lived abroad and often traveled for work, experiencing special moments with visitors and friends I made overseas. But living abroad as a single woman (or in a long-distance relationship, especially during COVID!) also meant I experienced quite a bit of solo travel. There were times when travel plans and visits were cancelled, and I felt the pang of being separated from those I love.Solo travel can be empowering, and I wholeheartedly support it. It\'s an eye-opener and a teacher. It forces you outside of your comfort zone, where growth occurs. It\'s made me appreciate God as my steadfast companion, who delights in blowing me away with his displays of mind-boggling creation!But as the social beings we were created to be, I believe experiences are ultimately best shared. When you see something astounding or breathtaking, you can tap your travel companion on the shoulder and say,\"Look!\" Years later, you can relive these moments together over laughs and a meal.
