ABOUT STEFAN SCHUETZ
As a Group CTO, I am responsible for advanced embedded and vision systems across engineering, platforms, projects and delivery. My work focuses on building systems that have to work in reality — not as isolated prototypes, but as repeatable, maintainable and scalable solutions carried by teams and organizations over time.Over the years, my role has shifted from building individual products to building system capability: architectures that scale, engineering organizations that are enabled to carry responsibility, and decision models that remain effective beyond individual projects or people.In this context, embedded vision and FPGA remain a core part of my technical DNA. Platforms like SXIVE and SXVPU are examples of how I approach complex systems — from early architectural decisions to industrialization, manufacturing and series readiness, and long-term operability.(SXIVE / SXVPU platform discussions: https://calendly.com/sxive-sxvpu)I also co-host the podcast “Embedded Vision aus der Gartenhütte”, where I reflect on real-world engineering topics, trade-offs and constraints from the perspective of responsibility and delivery. This technical voice is shaped by accountability — not commentary.From my perspective, sustainable innovation in embedded systems does not start with ideas, but with clarity: clear responsibility, clear ownership and systems that can be carried forward without heroics — built on teams that are trusted, prepared and enabled to carry responsibility over time.
