About Stefan Chirica

At the end of my junior year of high school, I realized that education is one of modern society\'s most undervalued and underpaid professions. The most effective instruction requires incredible patience for all students and their learning needs, something I appreciated dearly as a neurodivergent student. Although I had dabbled in coding for several years before this realization, my passion for coding truly began at the end of my junior year of high school, when my only instruction was to make a non-game Java application. As the talkative student I was, I decided to make a group generator for my English teacher that could deliberately separate the most talkative students to facilitate productive discussion. Even though the project was small, his positive reaction made me realize that I had the ability and the means to use my coding skills to make a difference for educators across the world. Since then, whether it was through launching an educational flag-merging game on the App Store with 10K+ downloads, attending learning engineering conference, or developing full-stack for a startup designed to make educational therapy mainstream, I have remained dedicated to applying the principles of learning psychology to every piece of software I develop. My goal in pursuing educational technology is simple. I want to do whatever I can to help educators do their jobs easier, gain their long-overdue societal respect, and, most of all, inspire future generations of students, just as my educators have inspired me.

   Developed full-stack in HTML Web Components/C# for ed-tech service matching learning goals to resources best fulfilling said goals• Tested CRUD operations in.NET framework using C# for users, organizations, groups, and settings, ensuring bug-free edge cases• Created Python script with Selenium to simulate all likely UI interactions a user could have in mangaging learning assets
