Collaborate with Mattel designers to produce works-like and/or looks-like toy prototypes using a variety of traditional and cutting-edge, digital techniques-Work in various CAD and digital modeling software to produce models to be 3D printed, laser cut, or CNC milled-Design complex, multi-part internal mechanisms to realize a design brief for action figure movement-Make both rigid and flexible molds for casting prototype components out of unique and/or difficult materials-Apply delicate and refined surface finishing and airbrush painting techniques to produce one-off prototypes indistinguishable from production products-Mix precise, opaque, and translucent Pantone colors to exacting specifications.
