My role is to work closely with the Team Manager and Senior Management Team to ensure safe staffing levels. This will include taking a lead in the day to day management of duty rosters for the teams along with the management/ co-ordination of annual leave, mandatory training, supervision, appraisals and absence management. I also am responsible for monitoring the financial budget and taking an active part in the retention and recruitment of staff. I am required to provide regular reports to evidence compliance in all aspects of delivery of care and produce, monitor and update action plans where necessary. I am also responsible for providing regular supervision and support in developmental areas. I have a lead for ensuring that high quality administrative support is available to the ward team. I also line manage of team of aAdministrators and Team Secretaries whilst ensuring all of my clinical teams are paid promptly.
