Tasks• Leading and developing a team of experts in IFRS, group accounting and auditing• Overall responsibility for preparing the consolidated financial statements (IFRS) – quarterly/annually, including monitoring the closing process and reporting packages of all KWS subsidiaries• Management of a global IFRS-Desk and implementation of best practices and industry standards in accounting across the team and beyond• Monitoring new IFRS requirements, assessing the impact on Reporting/Accounting and Implementing IFRS changes• Serving as the main point of contact for group auditors and component teams worldwide (global planning including global fee negotiations, global coordination, escalation, mitigation of findings)• Responsible for preparing the global closing plan and setting key deadlines for the closing of all KWS subsidiaries as well as monitoring the quarterly closing process• Management of projects and initiatives to improve accounting and closing-related processes• Development and provision of training/guidelines on IFRS and audit requirements for various stakeholders
