Functional reports: reporting directly to the EMEA Legal Director in Paris and managing a team of 6 in the Legal and Insurance function and 6 commercial managers (each leading a team of quantity surveyors).Responsibilities include:*Support for procurement upstream and downstream of major transport infrastructure projects;*Leading the legal and contract management support for major projects, whether the contracts are based on standard forms, such as NEC and FIDIC, or ad-hoc with private finance initiatives (including UKEF financing);*Providing legal support for all key M&A across the region;*Supporting and developing strategies for the successful resolution of disputes.*Leading the successful implementation and application of the group compliance programme across the businesses in UK and Ireland. As regional compliance officer, directly lead internal investigations related to breaches of company procedures and compliance matters.*Lead the commercial team in developing tools, processes and training to ensure a robust commercial function across the business.*Sitting on the Executive Committee, support it in developing its long term business strategy and its implimentation.
