Leading the DDI team in Bayer means to best enable the expansion of the druggable target space which our Research units are aiming at in the wide range of New Therapeutic Modalities from chemical APIs up to CGT. Our focus is on overcoming the oral barrier with BCS class compounds, cutting edge non viral vectors e.g. LNP and certainly on enabling very poorly soluble componds on the oral route. Additional focus areas are s.c. depots for e.g. peptides, organ targeting to brain, heart, or kidney and precision cancer and tumor targeting.
