Providing information, instruction and advice to pilots operating from and in the vicinity of Manchester (Barton) airfield by radio and face to face.• Led the airfield’s participation in the Airspace4All ‘GA Airfield ATS ADS-B Traffic Display Trial, including development of the safety plan, technical configuration and set up of the system. Produced articles published in the GATCO ‘Transmit’ journal and on Linkedin describing the trial and the benefits of Electronic Conspicuity as well as presenting at the CAA ‘Share the Air’ conference in June 2019.• Involved in NATS ‘Future Airspace Strategy – Remotely Piloted Systems’ study which is studying use of ADS-B technology on drones and the ability of GA aircraft and ADS-B equipped ATS units to detect them. • Studied the potential future methods of integrating drones, eVTOL and other ‘non-traditional’ airspace users in to the general aviation aerodrome environment. • Providing regular weather observations and feeding data in to online reporting systems• Rapid, critical decision making involving complex and dynamic situations and providing clear and accurate updates in emergency situations.• Training and coaching of newly qualified staff • Conducting airfield inspections and highlighting/ resolving issues impacting the licensed status of the airfield.• Presenting to pilots on flight safety issues and airfield operating procedures• Liaison with other internal departments and external agencies including Greater Manchester Police, Fire Service, NATS, UK Border Agency and Met Office.In addition created content for the airport\'s social media channels, including Facebook and Twitter and websites, driving the engagement thereby increasing revenue.Led the social media presence for the 2015 Manchester Airshow on Facebook and Twitter which lead to significant ticket sales prior to any traditional marketing activity.Experienced Wordpress Content Creator
