I am currently a Designer at One Stop for their Company and Franchise stores in the UK.My role entails attending on-site meetings around the country, where I lead design visits and pre-start meetings. During these visits, I use my knowledge and expertise (gained from several years within Retail and Structural Design) to survey the layout and influence important decisions from the design and flow.I then use a multitude of resources at my disposal to design store layouts that reflect the local demographics, company policies and store shape. Finally, I then present the designs to senior members of the Retail Design Group to sign off the proposed plans. For Franchise stores, this would also require sign-off with the Retailer(s).My other responsibilities within this role include, but are not limited to, running projects from a design point of view for the rollout of installations and designing of equipment. Other projects in which I have been involved in are installations of Costa, Tango Ice Blast, Slush Puppies, myHermes and various other rollouts. These tasks would entail managing survey requirements, design principles, as well as supporting the installation of services.

ABOUT STEVEN ROGERS
I am a professional, hard working and determined individual, with the passion to achieve any given challenge. An honest worker with integrity; motivated by high and consistent level of work. I believe I am an ambitious individual with a desire to succeed. My aim is to seek employment within a reputable company to further my career.My brief background is.I studied Architectural Venue Design and Digital Innovation and a Learn through Work CAD at the University of Derby. During this time I learnt 2D and 3D AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, 3D Studio Max, Sketch-up, Photoshop and Dreamweaver.During my working life I have used AutoCAD at 2D and 3D levels. I have also learnt to use RGIS and Nielson Spaceman as well as having an excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.I am a fast learner and have used AutoCAD to do structural, architectural, electrical, fire, drainage and space setting out drawings for a couple of companies. These include One Stop, Poundland, Electrotest and Central Design Consultants; where I worked on Lidls, Stanford’s, multimillion pound houses’ and house complexes as well as warehouses and offices.During my own time I enjoy spending time with my children, Photography, tennis, football, badminton, running and socialising.
