About Starr Boursiquot

I am currently a first year student at North Carolina State University as a history major with a concentration in law, on the pre-law track in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. NC State\'s prime location in Raleigh will allow me to explore my interests in both fields of history and law, and I am excited to be a member of the Wolfpack! I graduated with honors from Sacred Heart Greenwich in May of 2025 after being an active member of the community for 8 years. There, I spent four years as a member of the Model United Nations Club. This opportunity has not only deepened my passion for governance and political cooperation but has also enhanced my skills in public speaking, collaboration, and research. I also proudly served on the Student Council Executive Board as Head of Community Service, designing, coordinating, and organizing service events, projects, and opportunities for the entire student body. Furthermore, I was selected to be President of the Diversity and Social Justice Club, where I led presentations, activities, and discussions to provide students with an open space to share personal feelings and bring awareness to pressing current events around the subject of DEI.Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue a career in family law, where I can combine my commitment to service and advocacy with my academic background in history, social work, and law.

   Soundwaters

   Jun 2022 — Present

   At SoundWaters, on land, I supervise and mentor campers in social-emotional learning, art, and marine science classes, creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment. On the water, I provide hands-on sailing instruction on the Long Island Sound, teaching and encouraging water safety and sailing technique. I have been involved with the SoundWaters organization for 10+ years, beginning my time with them as a camper, then transitioning into employment where I was an intern, a counselor, and now a lead counselor.
