About Tim Stapleton
I am an Experienced Manager with a demonstrated history of working 17 years in the transportation industry. I have held roles of increasing responsibility at PACCAR. As a Design Engineer, I primarily worked on chassis projects. I managed the projects starting from concept, through production and supported field issues. I released and approved drawings, led cross department meetings to develop risk documentation such as FMEA, PFMEA and DVP & Rs. I led the implementation of a project to reduce the stopping distance of PACCAR tractors by 30% to meet FMVSS121 federal regulations. As a production supervisor, I worked with the design teams to trial new design and provide feedback to improve the assembly process and reduce defects. As a Quality Engineer, was a part of the yearly ISO and 14001 audits and review and update the QMS procedures. My team managed the APQP process, evaluated production process and inspected products to verify they meet the customer’s requirements.
