   Duke Heart Center of Excellence (CoE) collaborates with hospitals and health care providers worldwide to advance the science and standards of cardiovascular care.* Took charge of end-to-end creation and deployment of essential reporting and analytics infrastructure, including SSRS, Power BI, SSIS catalog, and analytic servers, enabling efficient data processing, insightful reporting, and seamless data integration.* Designed and built a dedicated SSIS ETL system, consolidating patient records and data points from Epic (Cogito, Clarity, and Caboodle) and other sources, to create the Duke CoE Heart Cohort, encompassing over a quarter billion patient encounters with thousands of individual data points.* Designed and developed a comprehensive Duke Heart Waveform Repository (CLEAR), implementing a system for importing, retaining, analyzing, and exporting patient electrocardiogram (EKG) readings for research purposes.* Designed, built, and managed a centralized Heart Center data lake, consolidating feeds from diverse data sources, providing researchers with a comprehensive and easily accessible repository for various types of heart data. Implemented data summarization techniques while ensuring the preservation of raw data integrity.* Developed a robust, secure, and audited data delivery system for seamless access to protected health information (PHI) from the Heart Patient Cohort, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations while enabling authorized stakeholders to retrieve valuable insights.* Designed and built the Duke CoE Heart Core data system, consolidating patient information from multiple sources into single subject areas (Echo, EP, Cath, etc) in a curated, structured format for use in operations, analytics, and machine learning.
