I represent technology companies and investors in venture capital and securities transactions, including private placements, mergers and acquisitions and corporate partnerships. I\'m a partner in Pillsbury\'s Corporate & Securities - Technology Group, which I led from 20••••23.I\'ve handled over 700 private placements of securities in 25+ years of practice in the Silicon Valley and have represented sellers and buyers in numerous M&A transactions. Representative M&A transactions include the sale of Nuvia to Qualcomm, the sale of Viptela to Cisco, the sale of Maginatics to EMC, the sale of Tensilica to Cadence, Identiv Inc.\'s sale of its physical security business, the merger of Validity Sensors and Synaptics, the sale of P.A. Semi to Apple, the sale of Agnilux to Google, the sale of VxTel to Intel, the sale of SiByte to Broadcom, the sale of Securent to Cisco, the sale of Modulus Video to Motorola, the sale of ScanAlert to McAfee, and the sale of ADD Semi to Atmel, among many others.Representative public offerings include the initial public offerings of eGain Corporation, Meru Networks and Critical Path.
