ABOUT STANLEY WINDSOR
The main focus within both my personal and working life is to make a difference and leave a lasting impact on society. My professional and personal experience to date has enabled me to discover and develop my true passion for user-centred digital healthcare - combining my academic research, past and present, together with digital transformation and improving the lives of patients and society. I posses excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable me to build and nurture relationships within teams and individually regardless of experience and seniority even in areas of conflict. My passion and motivation for designing and delivering user-centred, intuitive, and accessible applications is unwavering. I have dedicated many years to research across a variety of diseases (e.g. oncology, respiratory, obesity, paediatrics and mental health) within this area in an academic capacity both through service evaluation studies and designing/testing novel interventions for specific populations. I have significant experience in developing research strategies and planning programmes of user research and capability. I have exceptional programme level management and time management skills critically demonstrated through my concurrent roles as CEO for HandHeld Health and a university lecturer in addition to completing my PhD. Balancing data collection and fieldwork for my PhD together with my ‘day jobs’, I have become well versed in dynamic and multitasking ways of working. Additionally, all aspects of my current role expose me daily to the requirement for responsible data handling and interpretation. People, patients, and end-users have always been at the heart of my professional career. I strive to build an inclusive, collaborative and dynamic team that excels expectation and leaves a legacy of positive contribution.
