About Stanley B. Price

As Chair of Bilzin Sumberg\'s Land Use & Government Relations Group, I represent clients in land use and work extensively with government and regulatory agencies, developers and landowners to examine, interpret and establish land use policy. I have experience serving as special land use counsel to several Florida municipalities and as the special magistrate in land use litigation for the Miami-Dade County and Orange County Circuit Courts. I also chaired the Building and Zoning Committee of the Miami Chamber of Commerce; the Commerce Planning, Zoning, and Growth Management Subcommittee of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce; the Miami-Dade County Impact Fee Review Committee; the Special Task Force to Review Area Studies in Miami-Dade County; and the Land Use Subcommittee of the Builders Association of South Florida. Since 1987, I have been actively involved with Builders Association of South Florida. Additionally, I have provided legal counsel on a pro bono basis, written and helped revise ordinances, facilitated presentations on BASF\'s behalf before the Miami-Dade County Commission, represented BASF on subcommittees and served in various leadership positions. In 2005, I was inducted into the BASF Hall of Fame for a lifetime of achievement, for my dedication to the industry. Most recently in 2011, I was awarded the Al Singer Spirit of the Industry Award in recognition of my career excellence and great counsel. As a frequent author and lecturer on the subject of growth management, I was selected to lecture on the appellate review of land use cases to the Dade County Circuit Court, Appellate Division. I have also taught at the University of Miami School of Law as an adjunct professor of land use law and moderated and lectured at the Florida Chamber of Commerce \"Growth Management Short Course.\"
