As Deputy Solicitor for Regional Enforcement, based upon my many years of experience with labor and employment law, I lead national litigation and enforcement strategy for the Department of Labor that impacts millions of workers.In the past six years, I have managed 7 regional offices and 10 national office divisions, 600+ attorneys and staff, and some of the nation’s most complex legal challenges. My mission: deliver results, protect rights, and strengthen organizations through empathetic, strategic leadership that empowers people to excel.I believe leadership is about more than setting strategy — it’s about listening, supporting, and ensuring every team member feels valued. Over more than two decades in executive legal leadership, I’ve built a track record of delivering landmark enforcement wins while fostering inclusive, collaborative workplaces where people thrive.I’ve overseen briefing in U.S. Supreme Court and multiple federal appellate cases, coordinated national enforcement priorities, and advised Cabinet officials and senior leaders on policy, regulation, and operational strategy. My approach blends high standards with genuine care for the people who make those results possible.Supporting the mental health of legal professionals is also a personal leadership priority. During the pandemic, I championed open conversations about well-being, worked to remove stigma around seeking help, and ensured attorneys and staff had access to resources to cope with unprecedented stress.
