Established the project sparing philosophy for commissioning and startup as required. • Developed the complex pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and shutdown strategy. • Defined the startup requirements for power generation and utilities which must be in service for feed gas introduction. • Identified, as per the commissioning strategy, the requirements; temporary equipment tools and workforce needed. • Defined the handover systems, subsystems commissioning zones (exclusion areas) to minimize SIMOPS impact to the project. • Defined the Milestones and their priority for completion to achieve the scheduled production. • Defined the initial startup requirements for the electrical instrumentation, steam etc, to ensure the requirements are included in engineering and prioritized from procurement to construction, to operation. • Established the back-to-font schedule for O&M to PC & C so that it is properly linked to the project schedule. • Participated in HAZOPs and model reviews to ensure the pre-commissioning commissioning and initial operations can be performed safely, efficiently, and easily. • Defined the Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) requirements and sequence to support the project schedule and pre-commissioning commissioning and operational requirements. • Reviewed and ensure that there is an integrated approach between the ICSS vendor the EPC contractor and the project team and that the ICSS delivers both the ICSS hardware and associated operational. • Participated in FATs and reviewed the SAT procedures to ensure a smooth start and operation.• Supported Plant layout (plot plan) to minimize CAPEX while maintaining affordable APEX. • Developed maintenance approach to using reliability centered, predictive and condition-based maintenance techniques
