In when Tandy all of their retail stores and Standing Bear\'s Trading Post was opened,I moved my custom leather shop in and helped run the store.A few years after opening the shop, the original manager of Standing Bear\'s Trading Post left and I became the full-time manager as well as running my custom leather business, Leather by WC.In June 2006, when the owner William “Standing Bear” Kimmey passed away, the family transferred ownership of the store to me where I continue to sell leathercraft supplies and teach people how to do leatherwork and also provide custom leather as I have for over 30 years.
