About David Stager
I love sharing my mobile robotics engineering and people management experience with startup companies in the robotics space. I am helping mentor and advise future leaders for some of the most inspiring industries of tomorrow.I have over 25 years in technical leadership for research and development across military and commercial programs. I enjoy dynamic assignments that others consider improbable or impossible. I help build teams, construct technical plans, optimize processes and create solutions to problems by connecting people and technologies from various fields. Outside of work, I am the K9 Training Officer for Allegheny Mountain Rescue Group. I have 2 air scent dogs that I use for lost person search and I enjoy the midnight calls to go track down someone who failed to return to their family. Working with great people in chaotic situations is what I do best.

As of June 2022, my role is Head of Organizational Development with Anduril Industries. In many ways this is the perfect combination of robotics technology development and explosive growth startup atmosphere which will utilize my prior skills and experience to the fullest!Anduril has been on a fantastic journey since 2017 - extremely successful in raising private funding, winning government contracts, acquiring other robotics startups in the defense robotics space, and growing their engineering capability by hiring incredible talent.
