ABOUT STACY OSTRAU

A lifelong volunteer, fundraiser, donor and purpose driven person, my career has included working in corporate philanthropy, a non-profit foundation and a professional sports organization. A seasoned professional with experience in engaging business executives, philanthropists and sports celebrities in making impactful community investments and key business relationships. After interning for 3 of the best college football coaches - Vince Dooley at UGA, Bobby Bowden at FSU and Dennis Erickson at UM - I knew sports was my passion and I began my career with the Florida Marlins Baseball Club in marketing partnerships. One of my favorite roles was serving as Commissioner of Major League Baseball’s Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) youth program in South Florida, bringing home the RBI World Series Championship the same year the Big-League Marlins were crowned World Champs. Thus, I am a proud owner of 2 World Series rings. After hanging up my cleats, I took my talent to the Sun Sentinel overseeing the company’s philanthropic activities and sports partnerships. During that time, Sun Sentinel became recognized as one of the leading corporate citizens in South Florida. In addition, I served as Publisher of Society Scene, a weekly publication highlighting the charitable and philanthropic efforts of the community and hottest social events in town. My position as Executive Director of the RDK Melanoma Foundation included placing hands-free sunscreen dispensers in ballparks, beaches, parks and golf courses. In addition, expanding the Foundation to Philadelphia including partnerships with the Philadelphia Phillies and Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt. I produced the annual Runway Fashion Show at the Historic Breakers Hotel – one of the most talked about society events of the season. I currently work in Las Vegas helping empower people with disabilities to find the best versions of themselves. Active in the community, I have served in leadership roles in nonprofit organizations, spanning human service to the arts, education, and sports. I bring expertise in community engagement, public relations, sports and non-profit management. My superpower is connecting the dots and bringing together businesses and charitable organizations for the good of the community. Specialties & Experience includes: Corporate Social Impact • Community Engagement • Public Speaking/Executive Presence • Power Influencer/Strong Relationship Builder • Fundraising/Grantmaking/Giving Campaigns • VIP Event Management • Integrated Marketing Partnerships • Budget/Revenue Management
