ABOUT STACY SOLOVEY HAMILTON

I thought I\'d only be in Las Vegas for a year. Fast forward 28 more and I\'m still here. In 1998, I moved to Las Vegas for a job in local TV news. Like many others, I figured I\'d be here a year or two MAX before moving on to my next market. Little did I know, the city had other plans for me.and boy, am I glad it did!Throughout the last two and a half decades, I\'ve had the incredible opportunity to promote our extraordinary destination through a variety of roles, currently as Senior VP of Public Relations at MGM Resorts. I spend my days developing communications strategies and creative storytelling approaches for some of the most iconic resorts in the world (Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan and Mandalay Bay, to name a few!) In the time I\'ve lived in Las Vegas, the city has transformed in a million different ways, each evolution more exhilarating than the last — and I\'m grateful to have had a front row seat to it all, alongside the most talented team of PR professionals in the country. Truly. When I\'m not PR\'ing, I\'m professor\'ing as a part-time instructor at UNLV teaching Business Communication. Helping college students prepare for their next chapter out in the big, scary world is one of the most rewarding experiences of my career and I am honored to play a small part in their journey.
