Friends of the Children-Boston was founded in 2004 with a mission to impact generational change by empowering youth who are facing the greatest obstacles through relationships with professional mentors – 12+ years, no matter what.As Director of Development, I am responsible for implementing an ambitious fundraising strategy, providing leadership to inspire an increase in philanthropic support, managing and stewarding key donor relationships and working with the Board of Directors to increase significant gifts and build base of strategic allies. Part of a national network, I am working to build deeper relationships with the Friends-National office to build Corporate Partnership pitches and campaign structure.
