I left the rat race in 2019 to work for myself. I went from working 60+ hours per week in public relations, on the verge of burn out, and barely able to afford rent to starting my own freelance business, healing my mental health, having free time to develop hobbies, and making 15k+ per month. I believe when you\'re in control of your time and money, you can create any life you want. That could be more time with your kids or spouse. Or more time for cooking, gardening, or finally taking that art class. Maybe it\'s taking Fridays off to go for long weekend getaways. Or exploring another continent for 3 months at a time.
